makerspace in the 1819 innovation hub

While working at the 1819 UC Makerspace during the fall of 2022, I was trained on several machines that aid in the making process. These included the laser cutter, metal shop, wood shop, waterjet, and desktop CNC machines. I was then able to use these skills to explore, create, and problem-solve for several projects within the UC Makerspace and 1819 Innovation Office. I also developed, tested, and ran 3 workshops for the community to participate in. I also assisted members to ensure the safe and proper use of tools, equipment, and machines.

If you are interested in hearing more about my time at the 1819 UC Makerspace please reach out!
